Gisel Yama

Sound Healing Journey

Gisel Yama is a free-spirited multidisciplinary artist from Oaxaca, Mexico. She comes from a lineage of temazcaleras and curanderas of the Sierra Mixe, and from the Hispanic and Zapotec syncretism of the Valley of Oaxaca.

She studied fine arts and education, and specializes in vibrational medicine, yoga, and massage, weaving traditional Eastern and Mexican healing knowledge. She creates healing experiences through art and sound therapy that return to ancestral wisdom and a living connection with nature.
